I’ve cropped out the red, faux-brick facing on the other side of the garage in an effort to keep cruel and unusual punishment out of our communal posting grounds
Bonus, two priceless arts.

It looks a bit busy, but I don’t particularly hate it.

Four different styles of shades (electronic, the cordless pushup/pulldowns, two layer translucent/opaque and a semi-standard pull cord) and three different types of window tinting are what put me over the edge

Okay, that’s a good reason to be upset.

I like the ladder and bucket.. makes you think..

I agree with both of you.

Why be modern, when you can be post-modern?

It’s what’s on the inside that really matters right?

I want more industrial designs to gain popularity here. That could be fun

It would, prepare us for our distopian future were autonomous robots do all the labor and we all live in government projects with enough universal basic income to survive, but not enough to enjoy life.
Until the AI we created sense our existential dread and decide to mercy kill all of us.

Is... is that a painting of a dog humping a pig?
![]() 10/18/2017 at 21:14 |

That does tend to make up for the painting of a dog humping a piglet.

Edgy and corporate drone at the same time. I am positively shocked there isn’t a Tesla in the garage.
Or is there?

I was thinking more like hipster cocktail bars with Edison lights and distressed stone surfaces that try to be “authentic” dive bars but you can smell the $40 beard wax everyone uses plus everyone brings dogs for some reason
Actually I like your idea a lot more

No Tesla! No charging infrastructure either.
Alpina roadster and an Allroad in the garages while I was there. There was a beat up green E36 sedan that may have been theirs as well.

Amazing. Seriously. It seems every wannabe-futurist exec on the eastside has one now.
Z8 was a good investment, for the rich when new, and still today.

I suppose varying facade materials is the McModern equivalent of the nesting gables and crazy rooflines of traditional McMansions.

I like it when four guys like that, who are almost identical are standing outside the ping pong bar in SF owned by Susan Serandon. It’s like, you guys know you all look the same right?

Nothing is humping the polar bear yet, thank the bloody baby jeeezuz

I will forgive them for everything if they give me that Alpina z8

It’s like a kid with only a few legos left, but he has to use them all.
It’s a travesty.
That car in that garage only adds to the travesty.

That’s not the kind of deposit little Johnny needs.

Or the sort of painting that
anyone
needs.

Careful, I was once [wanking motion] scolded on here for posting art from someone’s home. But I guess you can’t call this art.

Yep. Few streets off Market, between downtown Kirkland and Juanita.

Downtown has really changed... Just two years ago it still looked Kirkland.

Eh, I kinda like it, but I bet the brick is utterly horrifying!
